Daniel Grimwood plays in Husum, Germany at Raritäten der Klaviermusik

Daniel Grimwood

Recital on 1850 Érard

Daniel Grimwood will play a recital in Husum, Germany for the “Raritäten der Klaviermusik” festival. Under the artistic direction of pianist Peter Froundjian, the festival has been taking place in August in Husum Castle every year since 1987. The aim is to draw the public’s attention to works that, despite their high quality, have not found their way into the current piano repertoire. Daniel will play not only music by Franz Liszt but also highly virtuosic works by John Field, William Sterndale Bennett, Adolph von Henselt, Juliusz Zarębski and Sofie Menter.

Daniel has released acclaimed albums on the Edition Peters Sounds label, including music by Henselt, Alwyn & Carwithan, and Fauré.
